Hi! I’m Monica, a self-taught baker based in Curaçao. I run my own home bakery, where I create floral cupcakes, and other desserts for customers on the island.

 

Before moving to Curaçao, I spent three years living in Abu Dhabi, where I became inspired by the incredible dessert culture and the way desserts were presented and enjoyed.

After years of baking and learning through experience, I decided to share what I’ve learned beyond my local bakery. That’s how Mona Bakes grew into an online space where I share my recipes, baking techniques, and decorating tutorials.

Through my online masterclasses and digital guides, I want to make the things I’ve learned along the way accessible to other bakers, whether you’re baking as a hobby, improving your skills, or thinking about starting your own baking business.
